Life as I know it…

July 26, 2007 at 2:16 am (college, Fiction Plane, Jobs, life)

So…

I got a new laptop, thus exhausting most of the money in my bank account. Its a Mac book. and I’m pleased to say its working quite well. I hope it continues. Don’t steer me wrong Justin Long…. 😉

ANYWAY…I’ve been talking to my roommate on facebook. I like her, I think we’ll get along well…so that rocks.

And…I ended up watching all the kids at Christy’s today…7 small children to be exact. For about 4 hours…it drove me up a wall. I don’t know how she does it. I mean…really…I couldn’t do it all year long…I was only supposed to be watching 5 kids then one got dropped off unexpectedly and then another kid just…showed up. I didn’t really know what to do so I let him stay I mean it wasn’t like I could tell him to leave or anything…

I had to change I diper, it wasn’t dirty so I didn’t have it all that bad, but I’ve never changed dipers befor so I hope to GOD I got it right…its pretty self explanitory anyway.

*Sigh* I get to go do it all again tomorrow. I mean…I think kids are cute and all but…7 was a little much for me. It should be better tommorow.

Then I got to go clean. I vaccumed Dennis Hudai (Is THAT how you spell it? I don’t think so…) for a good hour. The only thing that kept me sane was my iPod…thank GOD for Fiction Plane is all I can say. I mean…if I didn’t have Fiction Plane playing loudly as I vaccumed the monotony of the noise would have driven me up a wall….and somehow I eneded up covered in dirt. I don’t mind dirt so much, I mean…dirt can be fun. But only if its MY dirt…I don’t really like being covered in other peoples dirt so much…

isn’t my life boring? its sad…I should meet people like Joe Sumner more often…he’s got an exciting life…and therefor made mine more exciting. At least for like a week. One day I’ll have an exciting life…or so I hope…

*sigh* Homesick before I’ve even left home

July 23, 2007 at 6:40 pm (college, homesick, Homesickness, life)

So last night I found myself sick to my stomach and found myself thinking about how much I missed my mom. Which is stupid because she was just down the hall. It wasn’t so much how much I missed my mom as how much I’m GOING to miss my mom that kicked it. I found myself crying for a bit then I promptly got over it.

I’m just really freaked out about leaving for college. I mean…my mom and I are really close. I mean I used to cry when she left me at camp for five days. I’ve since gotten allot better but it leaves me thinking…how am I gonna handle being SO FAR AWAY for SO long. I think I’ll be fine, I man I’ll just have to distract myself and the like right.

I’ll be busy with theatre stuff and other people will be going through the same thing as well right? So I’ll be fine.

Some one just give me a few words of advice. that would be great…

YAY!! Sean Bean…

July 19, 2007 at 6:27 pm (Actors, Boys, Pictures, sean bean, Soccer, Uncategorized)

So…I’m bored out of my skull and find myself with more Sean bean pictures then a person should rightfully HAVE. So I figured why not share a few. You know spread the joy/love. He really is a beautiful guy. Rather bad a being married (I believe he’s been divorced 3 times now) but he loves his children, and is a massive Football fan. Or rather Soccer…if you happen to be an American like myself.

Why the hell do we call it soccer anyway…football makes more sense doesn’t it? I mean…you don’t kick the ball all that often in football anyway…you throw it…and what the hell does Soccer mean anyway? Is it a made up word? Can ANYONE answer that question for me? Someone? I’ve played Soccer for years but…no explanation…*shrugs*

ANYWAY! Sean Bean pics. Here ya go!!

Hmm…contacts…

July 17, 2007 at 8:45 pm (Actors, Contacts, David Bowie, Gary Oldman, Jason Isaacs, life)

So I went to go get contacts today. And now I have contacts in…and I can see. How awesome is that. I put them in (Which took a bit of work) and was like “…woah…” It was awesome. But I’m only allowed to wear them for four hours today anyway.

Its sorta weird because my eyes are getting used to them so they’re sorta going crazy. Its a weird feeling man. I’m sure I’ll get used to it eventually. But I can feel the one in my left eye and its freaky…I’ve never been so aware of my eyes before you know?

ANYWAY! Since I’m bored, I think I’ll stick up some pictures.

Jason Isaacs

Jason Isaacs

That would be the wonderful Jason Isaacs. more widely know as Lucius Malfoy. Lucius is scary but Jason seems like SUCH a sweetheart. I love him. He’s a fantastic actor. 😀

David Bowie

Yay for David Bowie. He ROCKS!!! GO DAVID BOWIE!!! Such a cool guy.

Gary Oldman

Gary Oldman

Gary Oldman

That would Be Gary Oldman, more widely known as Sirius Black. *tear* for sirius…oh how I ❤ Sirius…

and Gary Oldman. I think Gary Oldman is possibly my favorite actor. He’s a genius. He blends into every role he’s ever taken on and is absolutely astounding to watch. He’s sorta what I aspire to be as an actress…if that makes sense.

Yeah…later all.

Fiction Plane ROCKED!!!!

July 16, 2007 at 6:14 pm (Concerts, Fiction Plane, friends, Joe Sumner, life, music, teenagers)

So, as you may have guessed Kathryn and I were able to navigate our way to the Fiction Plane concert in Cinci, and I’m SOOOO GLAD WE DID!!!!

It was one of the best days of my life hands down. 😀 I’m uber happy. It makes up for any other crap thats gone down this year it really does. Let me tell you why. So…

I’m obsessed with Fiction Plane. If you havn’t noticed 😉 I’ve loved them since I got my hands on their first CD Everything Will Never Be OK. Which I’ve had since like 8’th grade. Needless to say I’ve liked them for a LONG time.

So Kathryn and I get to the concert, and it was a really pretty place. They had benches to sit on so we made our way to the front. After chatting for a bit, I notice a guy walk out from the stage area. I blinked for a bit as he walked past and sat down behind us. Suddenly it hit me. It was Joe Sumner, the lead singer. I freaked out, poked Kathryn in the side a bit, squaled, and debated going over and saying hi. No one else seemed to notice him really except the people sitting next to him. So I gathered up my courage and went to say hi.

Let me tell you I have never been so tounge twisted in my life. It was downright embaressing, but Joe didn’t seem to mind all that much. At least I hope not. I blathered on for awhile about how I liked Everything will never Be OK, but how the new CD Left Side Of the Brain was AMAZING. I think I told him it was addicting like ten times and which point he said “Nothing clinical right?” and I was like “No its a GOOD addicting” and the cinversation went on for awhile befor I said “I made my friend drive me two hours from Columbus to come see you…” ANd he was like “THANKS!” and I was like “Thank you for playing to close to Columbus.” which he didn’t really have a response for, he just shrugged and smiled. And then he shook my hand and I bounced off back to my seat and he walked back to the stage.

I then freaked out about how Joe Sumner had just shook my hand and was slightly concerned that I had come off as a freak. I actually told him “I’m sorry I’m such a dork” at one point in the conversation because I couldn’t seem to string two words together.

So then came the actual concert. They played a pretty short set, but as short as it was…it was amazing. Their energy as a band is fantastic. You can’t really take your eyes off of them. Its great. ANYWAY the music was amazing but sadly after about 40 minutes or so it came to an end. At which point someone was like “They’re signing autographs after the concert.”

So I bounded up to where there were signing with Kathryn and waited paitently. At least…as much as a 19 year old CAN. Especially a hyper, adrenaline filled ADD 19 year old can. Kathryn grabbed a poster since I didn’t have a CD, and FINALLY we got to the front of the line. The astounding part was that when we got there Joe looked at me and was like “HEY!! So thanks for driving two hours, and we’re glad we could play so close to Columbus…we’ll try to get there soon!” and I was like “AWESOME! And it was a GREAT SHOW!” and he was like “Thanks…” and we chatted some more (I won’t bore ya’ll with more mindless chatter…) and we said goodbye, when he shook my hand AGAIN. 😀 I didn’t see him offering his hand to anyone else (he probably did cus he’s cool like that, I just most likely blocked it out in attempt to make myself feel cool. Which I think I am…sort of.)

ANYWAY, not only did I shake his hand once but TWICE…so in conclusion I can die happy. The only thing that would make me happier is seeing them again.

yeah. I just find it awesome that not only is Joe cool all three members of the band are. They ROCK!

I’m done now I promise. And I’m sorry for any typos…my spell check thing doesn’t work…

LISTEN TO FICTION PLANE!! Press the button on this thing!

Talk to you later all!

Off to Cinci for the day!

July 15, 2007 at 4:39 pm (Aaron Eckhart, Driving, Fiction Plane, friends, life, teenagers)

So I convinced my parents to let Kathryn and I go to Cincinnati for the day. But everyone’s alittle worries that we’re going to get shot or robbed or something. I’m pretty damn sure we’ll both be fine. The concert ends at 8:00 so its not like we’ll be driving around in the dark. It doesn’t get really dark til like 9:45.

But in case I get lost and die I request that I’m bauried with my iPod, and will someone please tell Sean Bean just how much I loved him? 😉

I’m joking, we’ll be fine. If we get lost we’ll lock the doors and I’ll call one of my 19 family members that could escort us out of the city.

I GET TO GO SEE FICTION PLANE!!! YAAAAY!!! 🙂 I’m SOOO excited!!! I hope this works out I really do. I just don’t want to Jinx it or anything. Mhmm. Rock on.

As for now, I’m waiting for my brother to get out of the shower, and my grandparents to come and visit befor I leave. Because they know their way around cinci better then I do. Yeah…

I ❤ Aaron Eckhart. Did I mention that to anyone else? I think I did. I’m just…saying it again befor I go because I have no idea how else to end this post.

yeah.

Later all!!

So…

July 14, 2007 at 5:56 pm (Aaron Eckhart, Actors, Christian Bale, Fiction Plane, Harvey Dent, Heath Ledger, Movies, The Dark Knight)

So, I haven’t posted anything in a while. Mostly because nothings happened that’s blog worthy really. I’m QUITE bored. But tomorrow it’ll pick up. I hope. Kathryn and I are gonna try and make our way to Cincinnati for a Fiction Plane concert and I’m SO EXCITED!!!

You have no idea how much I want to go to that concert. I LOVE Fiction Plane. And the concert is free (As far as I can tell) So it really couldn’t get any better, unless of course they were in Columbus.

But Cinci is only two hours away so…why not?

Yeah, anyway…nothing really noteworthy has happened. I’m watching allot of movies. Mostly Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart movies. God I’m excited for The Dark Knight. Both of them in the same movie how AWESOME will that be?! AND Heath Ledger. Rock on man. That movie should be AWESOME Found a poster thingy with Aaron on it today for part of The Dark Night and I got really excited.

Harvey Dent poster

Exciting stuff man. I’m of the opinion that they couldn’t have a better cast, but there are people who do disagree. I Think Aaron Eckhart’s AMAZING so…I have high hopes.

It’ll rock. I’m sure it will.

Mmmm…Sean Bean…vacation update!

July 2, 2007 at 12:27 am (camping, country club, National Treasure, sean bean, sun burn)

So, I’m on vacation chilling at my uncles house in New Jersey. Tis fun…I guess. I mean I’m the only 19 year old in sight have been all weekend and most likely will be for the next four days.

But my mom and I are gonna go to Ikea on the way back from the camp ground on Thursday so I’ll just look forward to that. Not that I don’t ❤ camping I DO ❤ camping I’d just rather either be on my own or with people my own age.

ANYWAY!! At the moment I’m using my uncles computer whilst watching National Treasure on the TV in the living room. A friken HUGE TV at that. You should see the home theatre thing in the basement its CRAZY. They have a projection screen thing its awesome and huge. Sean Bean is on the TV and it makes me really happy because I LOVE SEAN BEAN. Like REALLY love him. No I would never turn into like a stalker or anything but I WOULD most likely cry if I met him. If I were about to die my last wish would be to meet Sean bean. Well…okay maybe not…but who knows.

I think hes awesome. 😀

Anyway vacation has been rather uneventful. We went to lunch at Uncle Mikes Country Club thing…which was well…country club-ish. *Shrugs* Its really nothing to write home about so…I don’t really know why I’m writing about it other then to say, I was only out for like an hour and the sun wasn’t even that intense and still…I am burnt.

*sigh*

Thus is the life of a girl with Irish skin tones…and freckles…

 LATER ALL!!!
